Membership for the work petroleum wholesalers carry all year.

Petroleum wholesalers manage recurring obligations, regulatory change, staff capability and industry issues alongside the commercial work. FWA gives qualifying members practical support, current intelligence, development opportunities and a structured association channel. Membership is reviewed for eligibility and remains separate from regulatory approval and LicenseCheck verification.
Membership is not a petroleum licence FWA membership does not constitute regulatory approval, certification or a LicenseCheck result. Every order remains subject to the eligibility checks for the selected tier before active member status is issued.

Qualifying Licensed members receive the FWA Licensed Wholesaler Member mark after FWA has checked the membership eligibility information required for that tier and activated the membership. The public member record shows active FWA membership and the date on which the relevant licence information was checked.

What the mark means: every issued mark carries the member’s unique ID and links to the public member record. It is not a petroleum licence, regulatory approval, LicenseCheck result, statement of overall compliance, product-quality assurance, credit assessment or guarantee of future conduct.

How joining works

From eligibility check to active membership.

Choose the right tier, complete the short eligibility check and place your order. FWA reviews the relevant information and cleared payment before it activates membership and issues access.

Select Associate, Licensed or Commercial based on your current role.

Complete the eligibility check

Answer the questions relevant to that tier and accept the FWA Code of Conduct.

Choose how to pay

Membership orders are paid in full and can be completed securely online by card or Instant EFT through iKhokha, or by manual EFT.

FWA reviews and activates

After the applicable eligibility information and cleared payment are confirmed, FWA issues the membership number, portal access, certificate and onboarding information.
Member access

Public information outside. Protected member services inside.

Membership selection and payment begin on the main FWA website. Once verification and activation are complete, members use the protected FWA Member Portal for resources, benefits, support and account services.
