Enhanced DIY application support for South African petroleum wholesale licence applicants who want closer FWA guidance through preparation, document alignment and pre-lodgement readiness, while retaining responsibility for the application itself.

- Structured guidance while completing the wholesale licence application forms
- Operating-model consistency review across products, customers, supply, storage, transport, insurance, premises, finances and the applicant’s intended wholesale activities
- Document-pack structure and assembly guidance
- Staged document and readiness reviews through the pre-lodgement stage
- Written remediation tracking for material application gaps identified during the support process
- Pre-lodgement readiness assessment before the applicant submits
- Guidance on initial requests for further information from the competent authority within the same application scope
- Access to relevant applicant resources in the FWA Member Portal
- 12 months of FWA Associate Membership for the applicant business, subject to FWA membership terms
Applicant responsibility
The applicant remains the applicant of record and is responsible for supplying accurate information, obtaining required third-party evidence and agreements, approving the final application pack and lodging the application with the competent authority.
Not included
- Full-service application management, regulatory representation or lodging by FWA
- Preparation of specialist business plans, financial models, legal documents or other separately scoped professional work
- Storage, supply, transport, insurance or other third-party commercial agreements
- Statutory, publication, professional or third-party fees
- Appeals, litigation or materially changed/restarted applications
- Any guarantee of approval or regulatory turnaround time
Important: FWA is an industry association and support provider. FWA is not the Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources and does not issue, approve or fast-track petroleum licences.
After purchase: activate your portal workspace
- Keep the FWA order number shown on your order confirmation.
- Open the FWA Petroleum Licensing Support Centre and sign in with your existing portal account or create a new applicant account.
- Link your order number and select Assisted Support.
- FWA verifies the order and activates the secure licensing workspace together with the included 12-month Associate Membership where applicable.
