Report Fuel is the Fuel Wholesalers Association initiative for confidential reporting of suspected petroleum-industry misconduct in South Africa.

What Report Fuel is

Report Fuel provides a dedicated channel for consumers, employees, transporters, retailers, wholesalers, contractors and members of the public to raise concerns about suspected fuel adulteration, illicit fuel trading, licence fraud, theft, storage misconduct, transport irregularities and other petroleum-industry misconduct.

Report Fuel does not determine guilt, replace a regulator or law-enforcement agency, or publish unverified allegations. Reports are assessed objectively and may be referred to an appropriate competent body where warranted.

Secure reporting

Incident reports are not submitted through the FWA website. They are handled through Report Fuel’s separate secure reporting environment.

FWA’s role

The FWA supports industry integrity, awareness and responsible reporting. Report Fuel operates as a dedicated reporting initiative with defined confidentiality, conflict-of-interest and case-handling controls. Membership of the FWA does not prevent a concern from being reported or assessed.

Where Report Fuel fits

Report Fuel is the confidential reporting and integrity-assessment pillar within the Petroleum Integrity Ecosystem. LicenseCheck performs verification and due diligence, while PetroleumOS is being developed as the future intelligence and analytics layer. These roles are deliberately separated.
